I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Fighter's Mentality

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I intend to seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Exchange

Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge financial rewards.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As both boxers participated in the traditional face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really going ahead.
